My Rite-Aid Challenge Week 1

So I am brand new to this Rite-Aid game since CVS has been my go to store for freebies and deals for a few years now, since I started couponing! BUT, since I've seen some great shopping trips come from Rite-Aid on other blogs and since they now have a *Wellness* Card (comparable to the CVS Extra Care Card) and the UP Rewards print on the end of the receipt vs. waiting for a paper rebate check to come in the mail... I thought I'd give it a try! 

This is my very first week and first trip so of course I had to spend some out of pocket and I will hopefully get better as time goes on. I signed up for my wellness card and bought:

(2) Colgate Toothpaste: $2.99 each

(1) ThermaCare Heat Wrap- $3.99

(1) Hershey's Bar (for my son)- $.88

-$3.99 Therma Care coupon from Rite-Aid ad

Paid $7.56 OOP and got back $4 in UP Rewards for next time! So total spent was $3.56! Can't wait to roll these over and score more great deals next week! I also got a little slip that printed out on my receipt that said if I took the shopper survey I would get a $3/$15 coupon and I've already done it so I have that to add to next week's coupons!
